But instead it hits Toby's step sister 'Jenna' and blinds her. After the incident Toby takes the blame and the girls are left wondering why. Toby and Jenna come to Ali's funneral and stay in Rosewood. Emily forms a bond with Toby and doesnt know what to do about Maya. Hanna's life is slowy falling apart when her dad shows up and has found out that he has moved on. Aria's mom finally finds out about her husband's relationship with the college girl, Meredith. And Wren breaks up with Spencer. They all go to a fundraiser called "Foxy" and the girls think that Emily's Date, Toby, is A. As the letters keep coming the girls think Emily's life may be in danger. but as it goes on they find out that Toby was touching Jenna innappropriately the night Ali set off the firework and she hit Jenna on an accident. Toby commits suicide behind Emily's house after she hints to him that she knew about what he was doing to Jenna. Hanna's step sister tricks Hanna into trusting her then stabs her by making Hanna's dad think shes on un-prescribed pills and Hanna finally stands up for her self when her dad say he dosent even know her.
