| Texas Wedding Author(s): Kathleen O'Brien Publisher: Harlequin Date: 2009 To get her farm and inheritance out of potential forfeit, Susannah does the one thing that she swore she would never do. She married her nemesis, Trent Maxwell, and must stay married for at least a year, because of her overbearing grandfather's will. The only problem with this arrangement is that Trent wants to have all the benefits of a marriage and Susannah isn't sure that after more than a decade of hating Trent, she can let him back into her mind and heart as a good guy. When things seem to mysteriously keep getting worse for Susannah's peach farm, will they be able to come together and figure what is going on or will they continue to use all their efforts against each other. Trent is definitely ready to let bygones be bygones, but will Susannah? If you like to read about strong women trying to exist in a traditionally male profession, such as farm ownership, then you will definitely enjoy Texas Wedding. I was hooked from the start of Susannah's story until the very end, though I did realize a few things along the way. There are a number of twists and turns that make the journey interesting. I would definitely love to read about Susannah's little sister in a future romance. Sexy cowboys are definitely a genre that Ms. O'Brien can write about, in my book. download link | |||||||||||
